Pro Train: Elk Canyon

Pro Train: Elk Canyon

Once Badgers Burrow and Frinton were accessible from the south via Badgers Pass, a way to connect Elk River to the rail network was sought. A much longer route would have had to be taken over the Eastern Range than in a straight line from Frinton and Badgers Burrow, over the canyon area.

After a long period of planning and surveying, it was decided to connect Badgers Burrow via the Skunk River Canyon and Frinton via the Elk River Canyon to Elk River, despite the need to build elaborate engineering structures, switchbacks and spiral tunnels.
While the so-called Skunk route is mostly above the canyon, the Elk route is mostly in the canyon.

Experience these spectacular sections with many changes in gradient and speed and master the challenging feats of transportation on this crossing of the Badger Massif, which was once considered impossible.

Features:

- 21 miles / 35 km new high detailed new route
- Northern US based
- Sequel to Badgers Pass
- running economic system
- four new sessions
- various free-drive sessions
- freight and passenger duties
